It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Keith Lackey in Alamance, North Carolina, born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Hugh "Cotton" Lackey. He is survived by: his brother Gary Lackey of Columbia; his wife Jane G. Lackey; his daughter Mary Margaret Cohn (Keith); his granddaughter Eleanor Cohn of Jamestown, N. C.; his sister Julie Freeman (John) of Decatur, G. A.; his siblings-in-law, Pamela Lackey of Columbia, S. C. and Fred Greeson of Julian, N. C.; his nieces, Caroline Freeman and Kay Plum (Matt); and his nephew Gary Lackey.
