She was predeceased by: her parents, James Watts and Blanche Watts; her former husband William Leaford Williams; her grandchild Steele Carrington Williams; and her siblings, Sue Watts Colclough, J. Eugene Watts, J. Cecil Watts, Daniel T. Watts, Hal H. Watts, Blanchard K. Watts and C. Edwin Watts.
She is survived by: her spouse Elon; her sons, Lee Williams Foundation, William Leaford Williams (Lee) and Dr. Randall Watts Williams (Elizabeth) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Margaret Elizabeth McDonald (Betsy), Angus McDonald, William Leaford Williams (Ford), Watson Randall (Watt) and Timmons Elizabeth Williams; and her great grandchildren, Catherine Ellen McDonald (Catchie), Margaret Elizabeth McDonald (Mae), Lewis Sprunt Williams (Lew), Harrison Leaford Williams, Sallie Labouisse Williams and Cardiff Reid Williams.
