He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wall and Elsie Michael Wall; and his sisters, Vella Mae Gaddy and Jackie Isley. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Richardson Whitacre; his children, Alli Nicole Wolford (Brandon), Bailey Ann Whitacre, Drew Myckel Whitacre, Colton Ray Whitacre and Christopher Shea Wagoner; his grandchildren, Ryleigh Ann Wolford and Ryder Ross Wolford; and his sisters, Bonnie Brooks and Mary Ann Walker.
