He is survived by: his spouse Gaynell Alston Torain; his son Troy Torain; his grandchildren, Maya Torain, Jessica Torain, Jaida Torain and Jaidon Torain; and his siblings, Johnny Lee Torain "John", Bettie Torian Thorpe (Maurice) and Willie Jean Torain.
