He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Amash and Genevieve Amash. He is survived by: his wife Chere; his son Joseph Amash of Raleigh; and his siblings, Georgette Couch, Julie Church of Mebane, Jeannette Amash of Haw River, John Amash (Becky) of Haw River, Jim Amash (Heidi) of Greensboro and Jerry Amash (Melissa) of Burlington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a community of friends.
