She was predeceased by: her spouse Franklin Bane; and her brothers, Harvey Sykes and Alfred Sykes. She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Lunsford, Hillsborough McDade and Sharon McDade; her grandchildren, Thomas Lunsford (Ashlee), Tyler Lunsford (Tiffany) and April Lewis (Michael); her great grandchild Ayden Lunsford; and her siblings, Irene Wade, Mary Elizabeth Neal, Mary Alice Pore, Ruby Martin, Lois Thompson, Betty Jean Aldridge and James L. Sykes. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
