He is survived by: his sibling Lakes; his mother Julia Shumate Ewing; and his cousins, Betty Anne Lennon (George), Anne Allen (David), John David Allen, Julia Allen, Todd Wahler (Jessica), Mary-Everett Wahler, Sarah-Beth Wahler and Arthur Edwards (Jenny).
