He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest G. Somers and Lecy Belle Wagoner Somers. He is survived by: his wife Sabra; his children, Danelle Somers and Pike Somers (Pat); his grandchildren, Jessica Gregory (Chad Maupin), Rev. Daniel Gregory (Allison) and Dr. Chad Riggs (Joy); his great grandchildren, Eleanor Maupin, Grace Gregory, Chase Riggs and Emma Riggs; and his brother John Donald Somers (Shirley).
