He was predeceased by : his father Solomon Edmonds; his wife Betty Edmonds; and his siblings, Cathaleen Ipock, Frances Moore, Doris Murray, Bryant Edmonds and Joseph Edmonds.

He is survived by : his children, Vickie Allen (Jake) of Burlington and Terry Chrisco of Florida; his brother Ervin Edmonds of Haw River; his niece Debra Norwood of Burlington; and his grandson Shane Wilson of Burlington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews
