He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl Greene Sr. and Edna Elizabeth Reese Greene; and his sister Shirley Greene. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Tony Greene (Lori) of Lexington, NC, Jason Greene (Shannon) of Thomasville, NC and Jennifer Greene of Lexington; his siblings, Jerry Greene of Lexington, NC, Larry Greene (Trisha) of Lexington, NC, Sheila Fowler of Lexington, NC, Abbie Holder of Asheboro, NC and Burl Greene Jr. of Lexington, NC.; and his grandchildren, Rusty Greene, Kirston Cowles, Cullan Greene, Mallorie Greene, Keaton Greene and Kolby Greene. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel (1307 W Old Hwy 64, Lexington, NC 27259).
