It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Jean Askew (Ahoskie, North Carolina), who passed away on October 28, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dancie Cohen Ward and Lottie Sewell Ward. She is survived by: her sons, Bill Askew (Leigh) of Ahoskie and Gary Lee Askew of Ahoskie; her grandson Atom Askew of Ahoskie; and her sister Bonnie Denton of Lawrence, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
