He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Maddrey of Ahoskie, NC; his siblings, Ethel Floyd of Manhattan, NY, Linda Maddrey of Suffolk, VA, Anna Marie Maddrey of Suffolk, VA, Robert Lee Maddrey of Murfreesboro, NC, Oscar Brrtt of Windsor, NC and George Maddrey of Ahoskie, NC; his stepchildren, Hamilton Marshmond of Philadelphia, PA and Carolyn K. Rankins of Raleigh, NC; and his stepgrandson TyQuan Rankins of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hunter's Funeral Home (123 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Dr N, Ahoskie, NC 27910-7612).
