He is survived by: his wife Frances; his daughter Lisa Asbell Foster of Ahoskie; his grandchildren, William Kent Foster (Martha) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Frances Melisa Foster (John Skipper, III) of Garner, NC; his great grandchildren, Hailey Foster and Kenlye Foster; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Baylee House and Cassie House; and his siblings, Jessie Spalding (Bernie) of Norfolk, VA, Thomas Asbell (Rose Marie) of Powellsville and Richard Asbell (Judy) of Fayetteville, NC.
