He is survived by: his better half Nita Rawls Morris; his children, Sean Michael Dunning (Laura Hill Dunning) of Charlotte, NC and Stephanie Lassiter (Robbie) of Rich Square, NC; his grandchildren, William Charles Dunning, II, Allison Turner Dunning and Chance Lewis Lassiter; and his sister Bettie Dunning Lane (David) of Hertford, NC.. He is also survived by his family and friends.
