It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernear Outlaw Tann (Ahoskie, North Carolina), born in Hertford, North Carolina, who passed away on October 19, 2018, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Kim Tann Goodman (Roger) of Ahoskie, NC and David Tann of Smithfield, NC; and her siblings, Wanda Vaughan (Tommy) of Ahoskie, NC, Mary Gibbs of Plymouth, NC, Oscar Outlaw of St. John, NC, Jesse Outlaw, Sr. (Sylvia) of Murfreesboro, NC, Linwood Outlaw and Alfred Outlaw (Pattie). She is also survived by grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
