She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lemon Smallwood, Jr. of Ahoskie, NC and Ella Louise Jones Smallwood; her daughters, Precious Hayward of Ahoskie, NC and Takayla Britt of Murfreesboro, NC; and her brothers, Tracy Smallwood of Middleboro, KY and Timmy Smallwood of Harrellsville, NC. She was also cherished by three grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
