He was predeceased by: his father Richard Earl Askew. He is survived by: his wife Angela "Bonnie" Jenkins Askew; his sons, Demetrius R. Askew (Keisha) of Temple Hills, MD and Aaron M. Askew of Greensboro, NC; his sisters, Carol Askew of Ahoskie, NC and Loria Michelle Askew of Ahoskie, NC; his aunt Audrey Askew of Ahoskie, NC; his uncle Bill Fennell (Darlene) of Ahoskie, NC; and his mother-in-law Daisy Pierce of Ahoskie, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends.
