He was predeceased by: his parents, Mckineley Bazemore and Loethel Cherry Jefferson. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Outlaw Cherry of Kelford, NC; his children, Amy Hannon of Rocky Mount, NC, Tommie Cherry Jr. of Greenville, NC and Bonita Clark of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Zoe, Ashgon, Tommie III and Payton; and his siblings, Carolyn Jefferson of Greensboro, NC, Celia Jefferson of Durham, NC, Teresa Jefferson of Hickory, NC and Otis Jefferson of Ahoskie, NC. He is also survived by two step sons; two step daughters.
