Sylvia Dianne Lassiter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2025, at the age of 79, Sylvia Dianne Lassiter in Ahoskie, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Rudolph Hill; her husband Donald R. "Donnie" Lassiter; her daughter Darlene Lassiter; her sister Carolyn Edwards; and her mother Virgie Lassiter Hill.
She is survived by: her son Don Lassiter (Rachel); her granddaughters, Carleigh Lassiter of Millennium and Keira Lassiter of Millennium; her brother Donald Hill; and her sister-in-law Betty Ruth of Rocky Mount, NC.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service (205 NC-42, Ahoskie, NC 27910). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Millennium Pentecostal Holiness Church (247 Millennium Rd, Aulander, NC 27805). A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Highland Memorial Gardens (109 Ward Rd, Ahoskie, NC 27910).
