It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Hope Eason Banks of Ahoskie, North Carolina, who passed away on April 14, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Smallwood and Grace Eason. She is survived by: her children, Evon Mabine of Ahoskie, NC, Gracie Banks of Murfreesboro, NC, Leon Eason (Selena) of Ahoskie, NC and Theodore Banks (Brenda) of Lewiston, NC; her sister Gladys White of Hampton, VA; and also Jasmine Harris of Ahoskie, NC. She is also survived by grandchildren; (17) great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
