It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Dilday Swain (Ahoskie, North Carolina), who passed away on July 25, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oba Dilday and Ruby Hill Dilday; her husband Vernon Swain; her son Cullen Swain (Cindy) of Goldsboro, NC; her grandson Dustin Swain (Candace) of Smithfield, NC; her great grandchildren, Presleigh Swain and Camden Swain; and her sister Judy Bunch of Chesapeake, VA.. She was also cherished by her children, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
