She is survived by: her stepsons, Lorenzo Brandon, Jr. (Thelma) of Oxen Hill, MD and Robert Brandon of Charlotte; her godson Sterling Thigpen of Portsmouth, VA; her siblings, Richard Askew of Ahoskie, NC, Olivia Freeman of Chesapeake, VA and Rosetta Askew of Bowie, MD; her granddaughter Felicia Beale; and her aunts, Annie Bell Askew and Reva Askew. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
