She was predeceased by: her parents, Veron Daniel Chamblee and Ruby Benthall Chamblee; and her brother Jan Daniel Chamblee. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Horne of Ayden and Jessica Pierce (C. Gray) of Cofield; the father of her children Keith Horne; her grandchildren, Theodoros Keith Horne, Alessandra Leigh Horne, Hannah Gray Pierce and Laura Jean Pierce; her siblings, Melvin B. Chamblee (Nancy) of Ahoskie, Nancy Hunnicutt of Aulander and Janice Decker of Raleigh; her nieces, Susan Hunnicutt Nguyen (Tom), Donna Hurdle (Scott) and Sylvia Wiser; her nephew Chris Chamblee (Cyndi); and her close friend Gene Scott of Williamston. She is also survived by her family and friends.
