She was predeceased by: her parents, William Simmons and Julie Simmons; and her son Shawn Pierce. She is survived by: her son Randy Pierce (Deborah) of Ahoskie, NC. She is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
