He is survived by: his father Wayne Melton (Vernell) of Ahoskie, NC; his girlfriend Lydia Davis of Aulander, NC; his children, Ronnie Cardwell, Jr. (Terica) of Chesapeake, VA and Nakia Cardwell (Alandria) of Rocky Mount, NC; the mother of his children Lois Roulhac Cardwell; and his siblings, Douglas Melton of Ahoskie, NC, Roland Cardwell (Janet) of Grifton, NC, Michael Tyner (Katrina), Darian Twine (Jacqueline) of Ahoskie, NC, Donald Cardwell (Nikki) of Queens, NY, Wendell Hudson of Queens, NY, Mia Melton (Dario Givens) of Ahoskie, NC, Sherell Melton of Ahoskie, NC and Kiara Melton of Ahoskie, NC. He is also survived by three grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
