He was predeceased by: his father Jimmie Wayne Pennington. He is survived by: his wife Tina Farmer Pennington; his children, Tristen Pennington Belch (Dallas) of Merry Hill, NC, Tanner Pennington (Catarina) of Ahoskie, NC and Sara Ganus; his grandchildren, Wrenlee Rose Pennington, Colt James Belch, Brett Rodman Belch, Chloe Marie Ganus, Troy "Trey" Ganus and Jett Sebastian Ganus; his stepmother Jan of Maryland; his uncle Billy; and his aunt Willie Dowell of Texas.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Ahoskie (312 Main St, Ahoskie, NC 27910). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Highland Memorial Gardens (109 Ward Rd, Ahoskie, NC 27910).
