He is survived by: his parents, Joseph B. Pettiford Sr. and Gladys E. Pettiford (Howard) of Alexandria, VA; his daughters, Chase and Jordan Pettiford of Atlanta, GA; his wife Antoinette; his siblings, Dianna Williams (Kenneth B. Strother) of North Carolina and Joseph Jr. (Kim) of Virginia; and his parents-in-law, Rose, Allen Hill, Ike and Tootsie Coleman. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
