He is survived by: his wife Mattie Vaughan of New Bern, NC; his son Adrian Vaughan (Latoya) of Kinston, NC; and his siblings, Jimmy Vaughan (Elaine) of Ahoskie, NC, Don Vaughan (Rose Mary) of Ahoskie, NC, Howard Hoggard (Mae) of Lewiston, NC, Ava Thomas of Ahoskie, NC and Edith Revelle (Fred) of Powellsville, NC. He is also survived by three grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
