She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Edward "Dan" Herring, Jr. (Teresa) of Rocky Mount, NC, Jack David Herring (Joan) of Courtland and Charles Ernest Herring (Carolyne) of Colonial Heights; her grandchildren, Trey Herring (Lucas), Allison Elliott (Ben), Melissa Herring (Sandy), David Herring and Courtney Voigtman (Thomas); her great grandchildren, Logan Herring, Grayson Herring and Haley Byrum; and her daughter-in-law Cynthia Rose (Larry).
