He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward and Mary Elizabeth Hughes Askew. He is survived by: his wife Kitty Jones Askew; his sons, Douglas Askew (Janice) of Ahoskie and Gregory Askew (Candice) of Huron, SD.; and his stepsons, Ronald Taylor of Harrellsville, Danny Taylor (Cindy) of Tunis, David Taylor (Wanda) of Harrellsville and Michael Taylor (Jamie) of Conway.
With the conditions and restrictions associated with the Covid-19 Pandemic, no formal visitation will be held, however friends are invited to visit with family at the gravesite following the service.
