He was predeceased by: his parents, Godfrey Terry and Virginia Elizabeth Burden Terry; his former wife Jean Terry; and his siblings, Albert, G. J. Terry and Phyllis Ray.
He is survived by: his wife Ann; his son Steven Terry (Denise Britton) of Aulander, NC; his brother George Terry (Judy) of Salemburg, NC; his half-siblings, Tim Terry, John Terry of Nags Head, NC, Kim Dunnigan of Asheville, NC and Kathy Barnes of Southern Shores, NC; his grandsons, Martin Terry of Nags Head, NC, Nathan Clark (Ashlee Flythe) of Conway, NC and Aaron Clark (Bailey) of Murfreesboro, NC; and his stepchildren, Teresa Piland (Allen Simons) of Aulander, NC and Anthony Lassiter (Denise) of Eure, NC. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
