She is survived by: her children, Deborah Lassiter of Wesley Chapel, FL and Rick Lassiter of Bristol, CT; her grandchildren, Ian of Connecticut, Xavier of Connecticut, Maximillian Lassiter of Connecticut and Yloni Almeida Lassiter of Florida; her great grandchild Sai Almeida of Florida; her daughter Carolyn Perkins of Connecticut; and her siblings, Edith Patterson of Greensboro, NC and Horace Reid of Washington, DC. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
