It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorie Ann Baker Cordrey (Ahoskie, North Carolina), born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on May 11, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Baker and Ora Lee Pridgeon Britt; and her brothers, Luther Baker (Lukey) and Andy Baker. She is survived by: her stepfather Robert H. Britt (Buddy); her children, Kevin Lee Morris (Kim) of Milwaukee, NC, Melisa Ann Morris (Jay) and Brittany Nicole Cordrey MacLaren (Richard) of Acworth, Georgia; her grandchildren, Alston Leigh Cameron Morris, Kennedy LeAnn Morris, Hayden Cordrey, Braxton Cordrey, Ricky and Grayson MacLaren; and her siblings, John Phillip Baker of Chesapeake, Angela Lapoint of Norfolk and Phyllis Baker of Orlando, Florida..
The family will receive friends at the home, 119 Liverman Mill Road, Ahoskie, NC, at any time, and due to the circumstances with COVID-19 restrictions, the family will have a private memorial service at the home.
