She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Brown (Darryl Cooper) of Colerain, NC, Quanesha Washington (Jermaine) of Rocky Mt and Felicia Gaston (Davey) of Ahoskie, NC; and her siblings, Beatrice Vann of Winton, NC, Fannie Smith (Bill) of Brooklyn, NY, Esther Shepherd (Kenneth) of Colerain, NC, Florence Brown of Powellsville, NC, Irene Brown of Windsor, CT, Nelson Stanely (Esther) of Powellsville, NC, John "Jay" Stanley (Shirley) of Franklin, VA and Sherman Mourning (Gracie) of Hampton, VA. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
