He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise "Lou" Vaughan; his children, Gregory Vaughan of Murfreesboro, NC, Sherwin Dickens of Raleigh, NC, Angie Boone of Edenton, NC and Charles Deloatch of Murfreesboro, NC; and his siblings, Harry Vaughan, Bobby Vaughan, Marie Mercer, Diane Dabney, Barbara Winston, Paulette Lee and Leria Vaughan. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 God child; a host of other relatives and friends.
