She was predeceased by: her parents, William Joseph and Bythia Leggett Hewitt; her husband Walter Boyce Boone; and her brothers, William Hewitt, John Hewitt and George Hewitt.
She is survived by: her children, Linda B. Mizelle and William Lewis Boone of Ahoskie, NC; her grandchildren, Katherine B. Evans of Ahoskie, NC, Lisa M.
