She was predeceased by: her father Elwood Dempsey. She is survived by: her mother Shirley Wilson Dempsey of Colerain, NC; and her children, Charlene Leary of Merry Hill, NC, LaTonia Boone (Santee) of Colerain, NC, LaToya Leary of Colerain, NC, Nicky Leary of Colerain, NC, Karescia Rascoe of Colerain, NC, John Dempsey (Latasha) of Wilkesbarre, PA and Robert Dempsey (Alethea) of Middletown, CT. She is also survived by her siblings; 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
