It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacquelyn Harrell Askew (Ahoskie, North Carolina), who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her mother Mildred Williams Harrell; her daughter Jatoya Askew of Greenville, NC; her father Delmar Harrell; and her brothers, Samuel D. Harrell, Jr. (Edna) of Harrellsville, NC, Michael L. Harrell Houston (Stacy) and Gregory P. Harrell Columbia, MD (Teresa). She is also survived by two grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
