He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jessie Dilday and Mary Brinkley Dilday; and his siblings, Lee, Raymond, Ed, Donald, Daniel, Mary Ellen, Ruth, Dot, Nancy and Mable.
He is survived by: his wife Mabel; his children, Trilby Dilday Bryant (Dwight) of Fuquay Varina, NC, Bradford Craig Dilday of Murfreesboro and Garry Wade Dilday (Kecia) of Norfolk, VA; his grandchildren, Todd Bryant (Joanna), Brittany Bryant, Carly Dilday and Claire Dilday; his great grandchildren, Owen and Blake Bryant; and his pet Max. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
