He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Eley, Sr. and Flossie Porter Eley. He is survived by: his children, Allen Eley, Horace Eley Jr. (Joyce), Maurice Eley (LaKeisha) and Barbara Angelene Eley; his siblings, Stanley Eley (Willie), Oris Eley (Linda) and Dorothy Bishop; and his son Marcus Smith. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
