He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Orville Simpson and Rhoda Gladys Way; his wife Doreen Easterbrook Simpson; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra and Pete.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen O'Donnell (John) and Cheryl Daughtrey (Alan); the mother of his children Laura; and his siblings, Elizabeth Kerr, Marilyn Germotte, Allan (Margaret) of Ontario, Robert (Anna) of Ontario and William (Eileen) of Ontario. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
