It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Williams Bazemore (Ahoskie, North Carolina), who passed away on June 22, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Williams and Ida Mary Bell Williams. She is survived by: her husband Paul Lewis Bazemore; and her children, Alice Bazemore of Lewiston Woodville, NC, Sharon Veale (Nelson) of Lewiston Woodville, NC, Douglas Williams of Lewiston and Thomas Bazemore (Zara) of Norfolk, VA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
