She was predeceased by: her father Robert Mathews; her siblings, Elwood Mathews, Raleigh Mathews, Jessie Robert Mathews, Jacobi Mathews, Iola Pierce, Blanche Mathews and Ruby Mitchell; and her husband William Torres of Ponce.
She is survived by: her son Ricardo; her daughter-in-law Radica; her grandchildren, Ashley, Farisha and Clint; her grandchildren-in-law, Nerissa and William Perez; and her great grandchildren, Shakir Hosein and William H. Perez. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
