She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edgar Harrell and Ola Mae Bryant Harrell; her husband Herbert Tucker; and her siblings, Wilma Evans, Agnes Boyce, Milton and Harlee Harrell.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Ackermann (Jim) of Hertford, NC, Brenda Knight of Raleigh, NC and Larry Knight (Jean) of Fayetteville, NC. She is also survived by one grandchild, one step-grandchild, one great grandchild; and two step-great grandchildren.
