With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Marie Morris Harrell (Ahoskie, North Carolina), who passed away on May 9, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sebron Carr and Foye Jernigan Morris; her husband Adolph Menjue Harrell; and her siblings, Walter Morris, Staley Morris, Earl Morris, Sybil Mitchell, Lois Lassiter, Sylvia Macon, Barbara Perry and Edna Matthews.
She is survived by: her children, Cindi Jernigan (Vandy) of Colerain, Cheryl Mizelle (Faron) of Colerain, Tim Harrell (Robin) of Ahoskie and Jerry Harrell (Natalie) of Benson, NC; her grandchildren, Erik Jernigan (Sherri) of Wake Forest, NC, Brooks Jernigan (Kelly) of Morehead City, NC, Blane Jernigan (Morgan) of Greenville, NC, T. C. Harrell of Ahoskie, NC, Noah Harrell of Jacksonville, NC, Jordan Parker (Brian) of Ahoskie, Jody Mizelle of Colerain and Caitlin Vaughn of Wilmington; her great grandchildren, Damon Hoggard (Charlee) of Beaufort, NC, Jaxon Lawrence of Morehead City, NC, Baby Boy A, Riley Lawrence of Morehead City, NC and Cassidy Parker of Ahoskie; her great great grandchild Haze Hoggard of Beaufort, NC; her sister Margie Liverman of Newport News, VA; her pet Gizmo; and also Nelda Luke. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the circumstances with COVID-19 restrictions, Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, NC will be open for friends to pay their respects and sign the register book on Monday, May 11, 2020, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
