As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ethelene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her father Richard Boone. She is survived by: her mother Minnie Pierce Boone of Richmond, VA; her sons, Durrell Bowers (Heather) of Ahoskie, NC and Darryl Boone of Franklin, VA; and her brothers, Dennis Boone (Jeryl) of Richmond, VA, Carl Boone (Mattie) of Charlotte, NC and Thomas "Happy Jack" Boone (Latausha) of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, a host of nieces nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hunter's Funeral Home (123 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Dr N, Ahoskie, NC 27910-7612). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (600 N Catherine St, Ahoskie, NC 27910).
