She is survived by: her children, Bobby Powell (Dianne), Brenda P. Jordan (Otis), Roy Powell (Sherena), Carolyn Powell, Rita Powell (Willie Branch), Catherine Powell, Serena P. Dent (Otis) and George Powell (Crystal). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
