She was predeceased by: her parents, George Arps Jackson and Verlie King Jackson; and her husband James Eldridge Whitley, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Deanna W Bissett of Murfreesboro and James Eldridge Whitley Jr. (Jane) of Danville, VA; her grandchildren, Adam James Bissett of Sanford, FL, Eric Christian Bissett of Norfolk, VA and Kacie Pierce Whitley of Danville, VA; and her sister Margaret Carolyn Roland (Johnnie) of Murfreesboro, NC.. She is also survived by her family and friends.
