He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Edwards and Margaret Hedgepeth Edwards; and his son-in-law Kenneth Stancil, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Nichols Edwards; his daughter Debbie Edwards Stancil of Dudley, NC; his grandsons, Kenneth Morgan Stancil, III, Nicholas Stancil of Ahoskie, NC and Christopher Stancil of Dudley, NC; and his close friend Tommy Gee.
