He is survived by: his wife Mollie Sessoms Freeman; his children, Tammie Gilliam of Powellsville and Coy, Jr. (Krystal) of Lewiston, NC; and his siblings, Johnnie Ruth Brown (Clamon) of Powellsville, NC, Rosa Green of Ahoskie, NC and Gene Wilson (Bettie) of Powellsville, NC. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his best friend.
